In January and August 1993, I was interviewed about my book, In the Shadow of the Sun (1992). All these years, those interviews have languished on VHS tapes in one storage compartment or another.
In the Shadow of the Sun was one of the first accounts in the English language about the brutal treatment of women and children by the Japanese in concentration camps in Asia during World War II.
Recently a friend and I were able to transfer the interviews from VHS to YouTube. So now for the first time, you can watch and listen to both videos here.
