Ronny – thank you for sharing yet another incredible story about the horrendous Japanese internment camps. With this being the 70th anniversary of four major events in our lives (Hiroshima, Nagasaki, VJ Day, and the liberation of Terry’s camp on August 17th in China), it’s important that everyone, especially the younger generations, remember the Pacific War and its atrocities. Thank you for your comment, Carol. Yes, we commemorated them all – although I did not remember Terry’s liberation day. Stories keep coming in, although we did not hear a lot of comments by the media. Tomorrow, I will have an interview with the local paper. I will put it on my Blog when it appears 🙂
